- description: Hi everyone, my name is Nik - otherwise known as teamfresh. I am in need of some serious hardware and software to realize my dream to become a professional fractal animator. I have been animating fractals for around five years. My reputation is growing on the internet, and over the last year I have been asked to do various pieces of commissioned work for film producers. With the event of HD It has got to the point where my one old beat up computer with outdated software is unable to keep up with the work that I am now being offered. I am saving up all my spare money from my wages - in total I estimate I will need around $16000 to get the equipment and software I need to be able to hit the ground running. this would take me around two years to save up. I am hoping with your help to cut this time in half! I nearly did not do this as I figured the $10 needed to buy my jar could have been put towards my dream but I think this may be worth the risk. I have asked for 8000 marbles which I will match in dollars out of my own money. This is something I am very serious about and that I have an awful lot of passion for. I long to leave my monotonous day job and do something I actually enjoy for a living. I have a blog that has been online for two years.
