Uploading Videos

Please be patient while the video is uploading.

Do not upload any TV shows, music videos, music concerts, or commercials without permission, unless they consist entirely of content that you created yourself.

Finish editing your video, check to see that it is no more than 10 minutes, and smaller than 100MB.You can upload any video with the following format; .avi, .mpg, .3gp, .mp4, .mov and .wma.


Upload Tips

  1. Make sure you are logged in.
  2. Click "Upload Videos" on the top of any Marblejars page.
  3. What do you want? Enter what you want: Example A New Car
  4. Category: Select a category from the drop down box or click on the View Categories link and view the many available categories.
  5. By selecting the Category: Family Tree your video will be private, you will receive a password to distribute to your family and friends.
  6. By selecting the Category:Charities Non Profit Zone you will have to meet these requirments. Your organization must be an established non-profit organization as defined by the IRS. To prove your status, you must either be listed on GuideStar or mail us a copy of the certification letter by the IRS, we must receive this within 30 days or we will either move your video to the appropriate category or we may revoke your membership without refund.We only allow organizations granted tax-exempt status under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and file a Form 990. 501(c) (3) organizations are considered public charities and all donations to them are tax-exempt.
  7. Need it By: Select the date you need to have your item.
  8. Marble Amount: Select from 1 to 1 million marbles to collect in your jar. Each marble equals 1 US dollar.
  9. Description: Write a description that lets people know what you want and why you need it.
  10. Click on the next button.


Now that you have filled in the various fields for this video, use the "Browse" button to select the actual video, then press "Upload". By clicking "Upload," you are representing that this video does not violate Marblejars Terms of Use and that you own all copyrights in this video or have express permission from all copyright owners to upload the video.

Once we received your video, Marblejars does all of the work for you we will convert it and encode it and place it in the cool Marblejars player. This can take a while depending on video size, quality and your connection speed. Typically, video encoding on Marblejars.com is between 5 and 45 minutes. The experience will be different for every user due to the variation in connection speeds.
